I doubt it,its really bad to get the disease when you are still growing. I was 23 ,in the army when diagnosed. I'm on Humira which is real expensive if you have to pay for it. Tell your son to keep his chin up,excerise helped me,once I was able I started running and it helped to be strong during the rough times.
